KLUE embarked on a 1 week pop up boutique starting Monday 23rd October at the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Yorkshire which is championing up and coming Yorkshire designers as part of its October Fashion Month (OFM) fashion festival. The boutique showcased four prevailing designers, Klue by Kelly-Ann; Roc and Doll; Maria Franco, and Harper Womenswear

Klue had the opportunity to received guidance throughout the week from a panel of four expert mentors; established Leeds designer-to-the-stars James Steward; Apprentice finalist and entrepreneur Claire Young; Meadowhall’s Fashion & Beauty Expert and author of ‘The Modern Girl’s Guide to Fabulousness’ Bethanie Lunn; and Director of Sheffield-based PR firm MK Things Happen, Caroline Woffenden. Aswell as meeting Fashion Rocks Buying Director Matin lacy.
Klue received invaluable advice from all the mentors such as the following from Martin Lacey FR buying director ” I loved this brand – it has a very strong sense of style and the collection is very memorable.” Claire Young Apprentice finalist and entrepreneur “passionate and switched on, very creative”.
On a personal note this was a chance to meet an inspiring designer who i have admired for some time, James Steward offered some words of advice which i will be taking on board to push and further develop the brand.

Klues first pop up boutique was a fantastic success and it was a delight to meet regular and new customers face to face.
